Located just off Beverly Dr. in Beverly Hills, the Broidas moved out for six months as a second story was added, creating a master suite with his and hers master baths, a steam room, a balcony, and a large sitting room leading to a bougainvillea-shaded deck. Downstairs, the entry, bath, and kitchen were completely redone, and all new thermally efficient windows and exterior doors replaced the existing single-glazed units. Exposed Douglas Fir columns and beams complement the copper cladding at the new entry.
