When the Cohens decided to downsize, they purchased a two-story end-unit townhome in Bel Air with stunning canyon views. Built in the '80s, their new home needed extensive structural and cosmetic upgrades. The unit was stripped to the framing, much-needed insulation was added, a small garden area was enclosed as an addition to the den, all mechanical elements (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) were upgraded, all windows and doors were replaced, and skylights, including one large unit over the dining room, were added. Both baths and a powder room were updated, and the kitchen was transformed into the focal point of a bright and elegant new home.
